Self Care for the CEO Workshop with Boston Business Women

During this workshop, you will learn how to find balance between business/entrepreneurship, and important aspects of life (parenting, health, family/friends, etc.)

 

Aly will touch on particular problems women face in the workplace & how they affect our mental health, ways to protect your mental health while active as a CEO, prioritizing time with family & friends, as well as how to build confidence!

  • Beyoncé Mode: Channel your inner Queen Bey. Whenever you encounter gender bias or discrimination, put on your imaginary crown, strike a fierce pose, and remember that you run the world (and your business)!

  • The Power of “NO”: Embrace the magic word that frees up your time and energy. Practice saying “NO” to unnecessary commitments, unrealistic expectations, and that extra slice of office cake (okay, maybe not the cake, but you get the idea).

  • Guilt-Free Delegation: Embrace your delegation superpowers. Remember, you don’t have to do it all by yourself. Delegate tasks, responsibilities, and even decisions to others with the confidence of a CEO who knows that teamwork makes the dream work (and saves your sanity).

  • Family & Friends Fridays: Dedicate one day a week to nurturing your relationships outside of work. Spend quality time with your loved ones, whether it’s a family game night, a brunch with friends, or a virtual catch-up session. Remember, a work-life balance needs a sprinkle of family and friends too!

  • Unicorn Breaks: Incorporate some whimsy into your self-care routine. Take “unicorn breaks” where you step away from the hustle and bustle to indulge in something magical, like doodling rainbows or watching funny cat videos. Unicorns make everything better!
